We have a spacious and happy home in which children can develop and reach their full potential. I provide an inviting and homely environment which offers children choice and inspires creativity through a variety of resources and activities.
We cook, bake, paint, sing, dance, read, write, jump, hop, cuddle, wiggle, giggle, create, splash, throw, catch, ride, slide, hide, explore, find, talk, listen, choose, share, balance, learn, make friends and have fun! And there’s always time and a comfy place for a rest.
Our large garden has a safe fenced off area for the children with a playhouse, slide, trikes, sand and water, natural areas for gardening, digging and searching for wildlife and a comfy sensory area to rest or explore in.
We also explore the local environment with trips to the library, picnics in the park, nature walks through the woods, play groups at the children’s centre, meeting animals at the farm, hands on learning at museums and feeding the ducks. We also go on special trips out including Blackpool Zoo, Happy Mount Splash Park, Ribble Steam Museum, Leyland Transport Museum and Brockholes Nature reserve.
I was rated Outstanding in December 2013 on my first Ofsted inspection and continuously strive to provide the best possible experience for children in my care.
